My name is Mark and I am pleased to be contributing to Suite 101.

I am originally from Brockport, NY but I have lived and worked in Pittsburgh for the past 10 years. I spent most of my four undergraduate years playing baseball and some of my four years going to classes. I graduated with Honors from California University of PA in 2001 with a Bachelor's Degree in History and Political Science.

I did my graduate work in Law and Public Policy, graduating from California University with a Master's Degree in 2005. So as a result I have spent the better part of the past decade writing about History, Political Science, Public Policy and Homeland Security.

I look forward to continuing that work in this forum.
